"Well, you can't teach the poetry, but you can teach the craft." - David Hockney
Bisbee Craft School is located in the historic mining town of Bisbee, tucked in the Mule Mountains of Southern Arizona. Bisbee has a long history of people working with their hands and Bisbee Craft School aims to create a future where our community can share its knowledge with whomever wishes to visit and learn.
We offer fine art and craft workshops for adults. These classes are taught by talented artists and craftspeople in such mediums as drawing, metalworking, and jewelry. Most of our classes take place at Central School Project, a historic elementary school located at 43 Howell Avenue in Old Bisbee, Arizona. Occasionally though we need other facilities, and we email enrolled students a few weeks before their class with the specific location and materials needed for their workshop.
Bisbee Craft School is here to assist you in starting or continuing your journey in what we consider one of the most fulfilling endeavors of the human experience- learning to make things with your own two hands.
